The CCTV headquarters building uses more than 40,000 steel components, weighs 140,000 tons, and is 237 meters high. The building structure is complex, the design standards are extremely high, the construction difficulty and technological content are unprecedented, and the cost is close to 20 billion. It was selected as one of the top ten architectural wonders in the world in 2007 by the American "Times". It is a masterpiece of the highest level of architectural technology; the glass curtain wall on the outer surface of the CCTV headquarters building is composed of strong irregular geometric patterns, using special glass and Qise brand black and silver gray aluminum veneers were used for decoration, with a supply volume of 35,000 square meters. This project won the World's Best High-Rise Building Award.
